From March 15 to 26, 2024, the Bordeaux Wine Syndicate hosted the annual “IN” Selection—an event celebrating over 20 years of spotlighting the diversity of Bordeaux wines, formerly known as the Oscars and Talents de Bordeaux.
Over 40 wine professionals blind-tasted more than 350 wines from six world-renowned AOCs: Bordeaux Rouge, Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge, Bordeaux Blanc, Bordeaux Rosé, Bordeaux Clairet, and Crémant de Bordeaux. The wines were evaluated across four creative categories: the INcontournables, the INcroyables, the INsolites, and the INformels—each highlighting a different expression of Bordeaux wines.
Why this matters
The initiative reflects the fresh momentum within Bordeaux wines, offering a segmentation that aligns with consumer moments and wine profiles. It’s a celebration of diversity and accessibility, with one common thread: excellent value for money. The 68 selected wines are this year’s official ambassadors—wines that are as expressive as they are enjoyable.
